CustomerMinds.com Privacy Statement

 

CustomerMinds Limited (“CustomerMinds”) has created this privacy statement (“Statement”) in order to demonstrate its commitment to customer privacy. CustomerMinds is committed to protecting the privacy of users of CustomerMinds.com (the “Site”) and complying with its obligations under the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 (the “Acts”), which, amongst other matters, give effect in Ireland to Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of such Data. CustomerMinds gathers important information from visitors to the Site and its customers, and therefore has established this Statement as a means to communicate its information gathering and dissemination practices.

This Statement may be the subject of change and the use of information that we gather shall be subject to the privacy notice in effect. It shall be your responsibility to check our Site frequently to see recent changes.

By visiting this Site, you are accepting the terms of this Statement. You should not use this Site if you are not happy with this Statement.

 

 

Collected Information

 

We require customers who register to use the services offered on our Site (collectively, the “Service”) to provide contact information, such as their name, title, company name, address, phone number, and e-mail address and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number and identity of users within the organisation that will be using the Service. Customers can update or remove their personal information at any time by logging into the Site and editing their personal information online. Customers can view their updated profile to confirm their edits have been made.

Customers are also required to provide an email address when registering for the Service, in order to receive a username and password.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password. CustomerMinds uses the information that we collect to set up the Service for individuals and their organisations. We may also use the information to contact customers to discuss customer interest in our company, the Service that we provide and any updates, and to send information regarding our company. Customers are invited to receive an email newsletter or other relevant communications by providing an email address.

 

 

Disclosure

 

Except as expressly stated at the time we request information, or as provided for in the CustomerMinds Master Subscription Agreement, we do not disclose to third parties any personal information provided. All financial and billing information that we collect through the Site is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective customers and to bill for the Service. This billing information is not used by CustomerMinds for marketing or promotional purposes. CustomerMinds uses a third-party intermediary to manage the credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing.

Customers of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information (“Data”). CustomerMinds will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the CustomerMinds Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the Master Subscription Agreement.

CustomerMinds may also collect certain information from visitors to, and customers of, the Site, such as Internet addresses. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, and to administer our Site in order to improve the quality of the Service. We may also track and analyse non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical information from our visitors and customers and provide such non-identifying statistical information to third parties.

 

 

Third-Party Sites

 

The Site may contain links to other websites. Any external links to other websites are clearly identifiable as such, and CustomerMinds is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those other websites. Customers and visitors should check the policy statement of these others websites to satisfy themselves that such policy statements are to your satisfaction.

 

 

Security

 

CustomerMinds takes its security responsibilities very seriously, including by employing appropriate physical and technical security measures, conducting staff training and generating awareness, and regular reviews of these responsibilities. We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of personal information you volunteer. You should note however, that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You accept that any information or message you send to the Site may be intercepted or read by others.

You hereby acknowledge and accept that CustomerMinds has no responsibility and shall accept no liability whatsoever for loss, injury or damage occasioned by the interception by third parties of your transmissions, or the disclosure of information, including but not limited to credit card numbers, by any party with whom you transact, nor do we offer any guarantees, warranties or indemnities as to the security or otherwise of any information which you volunteer.

 

 

Rights of Access

 

If you have provided personal information to us and you would like copies of that information, would like us to correct any factual inaccuracies in that information, or would like that information deleted from our records, then please contact us at the address below. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete information about you on our files. Please note that you may be charged a reasonable fee in accordance with applicable laws for supplying you with copies of information that we hold.

 

 

Opt-Out Policy

 

CustomerMinds offers its visitors and customers a means to choose how we may use information provided. If at any time after registering for information or ordering the Service you change your mind about receiving information from us, you may send us a request specifying your new choice to info@CustomerMinds.com.

 

 

Correcting & Updating Your Information

 

If customers need to update or change registration information they may do so by editing the user or organisation record. To update billing information please email info@CustomerMinds.com or call +353 1 231 1017. To discontinue the Service (such discontinuance being in accordance with the Master Subscription Agreement) and to have data returned, email info@CustomerMinds.com or call +353 1 231 1017. CustomerMinds will respond to your correction or update request within a maximum of 40 days from the date of your request.
